Detailed day-by-day itinerary:
Day 1 Tashkent arrival
Arrival at International Airport of Tashkent (Terminal 2) at ____.
Transfer to the hotel to leave your luggage. Check-in at/after 14:00.
5-6 hours city tour including the visits to: the Architectural complex of Khast-Imam, charming Kukaldash Madrasa. Explore one of the biggest Bazaar of Uzbekistan – Chorsu, Tashkent city park and Broadway Alley.
After lunch, explore unusual underground stations of Tashkent Metro, the museum of Applied Arts, Independence Square, Amir Temur Square, The State Museum of Timurids History and Memorial Square.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 Tashkent – Urgench – Khiva (domestic flight)
Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer to the airport (Terminal 3) to take domestic flight to Urgench.
Upon arrival to Urgench, pickup at the airport and transfer to Khiva (~30min trip).
You will meet your local guide in the lobby of the hotel.
Time to explore marvelous city, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Your walking sightseeing tour includes visits to all monuments and sites of Ichan Kala: Juma Mosque, Kunya Ark fortress, Kalta Minor minaret, the Madrasa of Muhammad Amin Khan and the Tash-Kauli Palace. After lunch continue to explore other exceptional monuments of Ichan Kala: The Mausoleum of Pahlavan Mahmud, the Mausoleum of Sayid Alauddin, the Madrasa of Islam-Khodja.

Day 3 Khiva – Bukhara (~6-7h road trip)
Breakfast at hotel.
Pickup at your hotel and transfer to Bukhara direction by passing red sands of the Kizil-Kum desert.
Along the road, make a rest stop to explore Amu Darya River, which seems as a blue serpent in the desert.
Lunch on the way.
Upon arrival in Bukhara, drop off at your hotel.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 Bukhara (city tour)
Breakfast at hotel.
You will meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel.
During 4-5 hours walking sightseeing tour, you will visit: the architectural complex Poi-Kalyan, the madrasa of Ulug Beg and Abdulaziz Khan, Tim Abdullah Khan – a covered bazaar built in 1577, Magok-i Attari Mosque.
After lunch continue to explore other marvelous monuments, as: architectural ensemble Laybi-Hauz, Ark-Citadel –a residence of Bukhara khans, a massive fortress, built and occupied around the 5th century AD, Bolo-Hauz Mosque, built in the 17th century, the mausoleum of Ismail Samani, which is one of the most ancient monuments in the city and the mausoleum Chashma Ayub.
Dinner in the old Nadir Divan-Begi Madrasah which is famous for a folklore show with folk dance accompanied by traditional live music and fashion show!

Day 5 Bukhara – Gijduvan – Nurota
Breakfast at hotel.
In the morning you will meet your driver at hotel and transfer to Nurata direction (~178 km, ~3h drive).
On the way to Bukhara, you’ll stop at the small village of Gijduvan, where you’ll visit a ceramic workshop and learn about traditional Uzbek crafts.
Another stop will be for lunch and a cup of hot, green tea.
Upon arrival in yurt camping, accommodation in the yurt, later on optional activities like Camel riding will take place.
Your dinner will be in a desert around the fire. Overnight in yurts.

Yurt camping in Nurata consists of a dozen yurts, in one of which you will stay. There is no private yurt, travelers stay from 4 to 8 people per yurt. From the point of hygiene view, the camping has 4 showers, 1 European WC and 4 Turkish WC. The bedding is provided (mattress, sheets, and blankets). Dinner is based on local food (usually beef or mutton with rice, pasta and vegetables). The temperature can rise up to 40 ° C in summer and 10 ° C during thunderstorms.
Day 6 Nurota – Aydarkul – Uhum village
Breakfast at hotel.
In the morning transfer to Aydarkul Lake to spend some time in and enjoy the beauty of the lake, located in desert.
After, transfer to Uhum village (143km, ~2 h road trip), where you will spend time with local Uzbek family.
Upon arrival lunch with local. You can also take part in preparation of traditional Uzbek food.
Then walking in village to explore Uzbek life: people riding donkeys, 1000 years of walnut trees and children playing traditional Uzbek games.
Dinner with family. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 7 Uhum village – Samarkand
Breakfast with local family.
In the morning light hiking to mountains, explore ancient petroglyphs.
After lunch in the guesthouse, transfer to Samarkand (~201km, ~3-4h road trip).
Upon arrival in Samarkand transfer and check-in to hotel.
Free time at your disposal.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 8 Samarkand – Tashkent (domestic train)
Pickup at your hotel.
5-6 hours sightseeing tour to: the Gur-Amir Mausoleum –the family crypt of the great dynasty of Tamerlane, the Registan Square – the ensemble of three madrasas and Bibi Khanum Mosque.
After lunch time you will visit the Siyab Bazaar, the Shakhi-Zinda Ensemble, which includes more than 20 historical buildings, built from early XI to XIV cc.
Transfer to the railway station to take express train to Tashkent.
Upon arrival to Tashkent, pickup at the station and transfer to your hotel.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 9 Tashkent – Departure
Breakfast at hotel.
(2-3 hours before your flight departure) pickup at your hotel and transfer to the International Airport. Your flight leaves Tashkent at ______.
